Fri 21st (1863 cal) 11.6 (7/8)

Really fancied chips today.  Thinks it's this cold. I seem to be hungry for salty, stodgy things. I haven't done a weigh in for a while . I'm 11.6 (7/8) . I left work late as I was speaking to colleagues I'm staff room for a while. Walked dog as soon as I got home then washed her and cleaned bathroom. Husband picked up chips on the way home. He bought 3 suppers! So I had a  sausage supper with half a macaroni pie! No dessert for me tonight.  Had ginger tea with honey to help with my cold while we were watching g goggle box.

Still have the cold 2070 cal

Still have the cold. Woman I do car share with has been off all week with what I can only imagine is the same thing. Ss for seniors at lunch.  Feeling sorry for dog being left all day on her own then just seeing us at night and we went to bed early last night. So I took her a walk as soon as I got home from work and then again at night to break up her evening a big more. Had chilli for dinner again but had some cheese on top too 🙊 followed by the last costco cupcake.

Back to normal 1571 cal

I've went a bit crazy the last few days. Time to get back to normal. I've got a cold and I think it was making me crave loads of food, that's my excuse anyway. Time to be healthier though. Couldn't face bran this morning so had toast. Stayed at work an extra hour and then went to asda to get the ingredients for something healthy. I told myself if I make something healthy I van have a nice dessert. So I bought ingredients for chilli and a cheesecake lol.  Husband is working really late just now so I had to have a graze snack with a cup of tea to tide me over until dinner.

Tues 18th

Up early and got bus to Glasgow . Had a coffee and elevenses before I left. Had scone and tea at venue then soup and sandwiches for lunch. I had a biscuit and tea in the afternoon. Some p ringlets on the bus. Didn't get back until late and I had a burger king at union square.  Then when I finally got home I ate two toffee yum yums!

Mon 17th

Had in service day. In meetings all had to sit through a drug awareness talk.  Went to mc d's for lunch. Had early night ànd watched I'm a Celeb in bed as I had to get up early next day.

Hungover

Slept until after 11th,  was feeling pretty rough. Had a roll with 2 potato scones. Watched x factor MIC and Towie all day. Made myself a club sandwich. Had raspberries and strawberries as a snack.  Had a Chinese for dinner. Had salt and pepper chicken and prawn crackers on side. Done a token amount of ironing then had a coffee and cop cake.

Went to costco in the norning after s breakfast roll. Resisted pizza and food at costco coffee and had a giant cupcake and coffee.felt like Ive been eating all day while watching MIC   Had a 40th party at night.  While I was there I had 4 large glasses of wine and crisps.  When I got home I stuffed half a bar of fruit and nut in my mouth and another massive cup cake. Calories are unbelievably high! The picture is obviously not of everything I ate .

Cut dogs hair straight after work. Had left over pizza for dinner. I had quite a big bowl of buttons for dessert.  The weather was awful do only took the dog a half hour walk. Had to put waterproofs on.

Had porridge for a change this morning with honey and cinnamon. Was really frosty and husband was up and away very early , before me. Took my own lunch into work. Coronation chicken sandwich and an apple. While waiting for husband to finish work I had a tea and graze bounty hunter. Stovies and vienetta again. Then we took dog a walk.

Got bus into Aberdeen this morning to get Colleague a 40th present. Was only in for under an hour, grabbed a coffee for bus trip home.  husband working again . Made us both blts for lunch. I spent afternoon watching Towie then went to tesco to buy ingredients for dinner. Made stovies then walked dog. Had a third of a vienetta for dessert.

Calories for today are so low as I burned 540 from walking and washing car. I went down to tesco by myself as husband working from home.  From tesco I walked to garden centre and bought a large yanked candle.  Once back from supermarket I made us blts for lunch. After a cup of tea o washed the car and then walked dog. I made a Jamie Oliver variation of my stir fry. Had areo bubbles for dessert.

Was out for book club meal tonight. I had salmon risotto and a coffee afterwards. So impressed with myself for not having dessert! I deserve a medal.

Wed 5th fireworks 1676 cal

Feeling down about my weight. Was actually 11.8 this morning and feel that it's so unjust. We rushed to see fireworks quickly so husband picked up a Chinese on way home.

Weigh day 11.7 3/4 (2296 cal)

Can't believe I am 11.7 again was down to 11.5 last week at one point. I ate loads of midget gems tonight too which took me to around 2300 call.  Feeling quite down about it hoping it's just water retention. Especially since I've cancelled weight watchers now. Had  a big dinner of a bean burger with chips and onion rings then a fresh cream all turnover lol.

Usual 5og of fruit n fibre. Had a healthy lunch of sushi and a snack pack of fruit. Came home from work late so had can chicken as it is quick.  I was really naughty and had a fresh cream apple turnover for dessert. I am counting g it as 558 calories though. Nice healthyish day. 😏

Saturday 1st Nov 2491 cal

went to a hen do in broughty ferry. Before I left I walked down to tesco which burned off 294 cal and I had a pastry and coffee before getting bus/train. On train my friend and I had prossecco with amorretto. We ate in the hotel we were staying in and I had lasagne and chips. While getting ready we had prosecco with chambord. Once out I drank morgans and diet cokes but changed to vodka lemonade as the draft coke was tasting weird. I didn't munch at night. The calories I've out down for the day are very rough I probably had a lot more but I've counted as best I can and to be honest it isn't too bad considering!

Weigh day 11.6 3/4 (50-2)48pp

Yet I've lost 1lb. It's going in the right direction. I'm actually eating quite a lot however it's hopefully not enough to put on weight. I'm having 50g of fruit n fibre in the morning. Usually I would only ever have 30g or occasionally 40g. I only went a short walk with dog tonight . Feeling quite lazy .

Late night snack of grapes instead of a magnum like husband. Had pasta made with left over toast chicken from yesterday . Rhubarb crumble for dessert to use up the left over custard. Walked. 4 miles while talking to friend on phone. Ordered a new phone today with unlimited minutes, finally broken away from iPhone !

(44-9)35 pp wee roast dinner

Clocks went back and husband had to get up at give to go to work ( on a Sunday ) I had fruit n fibre for breakfast then had a brunch as husband came home from work on the morning and made rolls with grilled sausage . I had the tiniest one ever. I then walked a big circuit around the town and into m& s , tesco and Aldi. Covered 5.5 miles. Husband made us a wee roast which we had at like 3.15pm lol. I was starving and had already snacked on graze and grapes. Had a cherry frangipani tart with custard for dessert. I took dog out and looked at phones on internet as I desperately need an upgrade. Was still pretty full and when husband was throwing chicken bones away at night I started picking at food ( chicken and stuffing). As I still had that full feeling I felt like if had a bad day and thought I might aswell have a bit if rocky road and tea then start diet properly Tommorrow. Luckily I did not and I'm not full and bloated anymore like I w plus have been if if started shovelling loads of rubbish in my gob!!

A lot of points however I did make healthy choices. Husband made thai peanut and pork curry instead of takeaway. I had a snack of graze instead of pastry. Tonight while watching a film I had 3 large gin and diet gingerales instead of a bottle of wine or cider or cointrea and cranberry. I've figured the best way to avoid eating rubbish is not to buy it in the first place , don't have if in the house.

Walked to tesco this morning to get ingredients for biryani. Got wine rack delivered. Made a BLT for lunch. Watched tv and drank tea all day. Had a graze rhubarb and custard for a snack and a glass of pineapple juice. Biryani for dinner followed by a coffee and rocky road . Took dog out. While watching tv at night I snacked on grapes.

(43-8) 35pp Feeling positive

I managed to stay at 11.7 3/4 today and I've managed not to binge and walk 8 miles. I do believe that if things had/do continue the they were this would be the last morning I would be as low as that and possibly the last month I would be this side of 12.0. Anyway was feeling pretty rubbish this morning after all the wine , crisps etc. so had a large smoothie. For lunch I decided to have bacon and egg ( low carb and good for the hangover) walked to the park in the afternoon to meet a friend and her kids. Walked to supermarket then home. Made meatballs for dinner. Followed by a nespresso and a slice of the nigella  rocky road I made the other day. Went a. 3 mile walk with husband and dog. For a snack tonight I had grapes and loads of water. Glad I didn't use the drinking as an excuse to get a takeaway and eat rubbish.

something has to change!

I am aware that my weight is going in the wrong direction. I probably won't get away with staying at 11.7 3/4 for another week and I will probably just jump up a few pounds instantly. Time to put the breaks on! I was tempted to start another blog to give me a total fresh start however this is all part of maintenance I guess. When driving home on monday I was thinking about my weight. I seem to feel like I've failed when I'm still actually 2 stone lighter than I was at the start. Big deal I've put 7 lbs on , thin people do that too but they think " best cut down for a while, I'm putting on weight " and they don't let the 7lbs turn into a stone. Historically I feel defeated then let it pile on then think back and say why when I had only put a few pounds on did I let it get to this! 

Anyway I'm out for lunch today with friends. My first thought was I feel fat anyway so last bad day and the diet starts Tommorrow. Not a good idea as Tommorrow I will put on another 2 lbs. whereas I could have a nice lunch without going over board  a few drinks and stay the same Tommorrow. That's what I'll do . Anyway I'm about to get ready to go just finishing a cup of green tea. 

The day didn't go as great as it could of. I had a Penang bang chicken salad with sweet potato fries. Drank wine all day. Girls ordered nachos later so I ate some. This is the really bad bit , I ate 5 packets of crisps when I got home!

Day 8 mon 20th normal day

Travelling back home. Managed to have a normal sort if day eating wise. Took the dog a nice walk to the pier in  the morning (3 miles). Had a brunch of beans and toast. When I was driving up I was so tired. I stopped at asda and got a mocha. That's a coffee I would never normally get but fancied the sugar and caffeine rush. I had salmon , pesto, green beans , Babbage and instant mash for dinner. Took dog out for. 2.7 miles then had two pieces of mars cake with a coffee from a takeaway cup as I burnt my mouth while making them.

Day 7 sun 19th last day at parents

Went to b and q so that my mum could take back a foot stool. I bought a wee bird house. We had a look in oak furniture world and I seen a wine rack that I liked for the dining room. We went for a carvery and I had a glass of red. Came home and I drank four or five Cointreau and cranberrys and ordered wine rack online . Later on I had two sausage rolls.was 11.10 on parents scales tonight.

Day 6 walked 13.5 miles

Went the a massive walk over the countryside with parents then stopped at waitrose. Had apple strudel and a coffee ( the apple strudel from waitrose cafe is only 140 cals) . Walked home , then walked dog. Had a wine then paella , a kitkat then another 2 glasses while watching xfactor.?

Day 5 fri 17th very bad!

Went into Glasgow with my mum we had burger and chips and two glasses of wine for lunch . Had Indian when home.

Day 4 Thursday 16th (54-4)50 pp

Drove to parents . Didn't have the best day alcohol wise! Stood on there scales which was always two pounds heavier than my old scales and it they show I'm. 11.6 tonight  which would make me 11.4 on my old scales at night aswell having had an Indian the night before! I'm wondering if my scales are reading heavy.

Day 3 (74-13 61pp

This is not the healthiest day however , one day at a time and I'm still not over my weeklies. I walked 10 miles in total. Done 5 after my parcel from oasis arrived then 2.5 with the dog . Then 2.5 after dinner. 
We went to an Indian restaurant we have never tried before. I hit chicken chaat as it's usually healthier however it came fried in some kind of Indian bread. Had chicken tikka patia and rice with a bit of naan. ( oops just realised I haven't counted naan) I better add that on.  Anyway Tommorrow is a new day and I could of been worse!

Day 2 weigh day 11.7 3/4 (52-11) 41pp walked 10 miles

Walked ten miles today. 2.5 in morning then I went into work and after a couple of hours me and colleague went a 5 mile walk. Had left over stovies for dinner. Walked the dog another 2.5 miles. The dog has done well today , she's walked 5 altogether. I had a hot choc in bed because I really fancied it. Back to pointing tomorrow! 
Oh no I've just realised pointing should start today as my weigh day on weight watchers is a Tuesday! Well I was 11.7 and three quarters this morning. I haven't even taken a pic! I've also consumed a lot of points today! I've not counted the hot choc ;)

Day 1 of 70 days to 11 stone

I was 11.9 this morning. I was 11.5 on Saturday morning though ( I thought 11.5 was bad!) . I'm just out of control and I'm following the pattern of having a few good days then a massive blow out which lasts a few days. The diet starts tomorrow mentality is taking over. It should be oops my next meal better be healthier. Anyway I had a look back at my wedding diet blog and I had a few blips similar to thus and managed to get back on track.  I also noticed I didn't do anything drastic just fell back into breakfast, healthy snack, lunch , dinner, dessert.  My official weigh day is a Wednesday so will post actual weight then. I'm starting the walking again on nap my walk. My dad is up at 650 miles and I'm only at 420. I've worked out that if I walk at least 6 miles a day I'll catch up in 3 to 4 months. Thats my challenge!  So I walked 6.5 miles today. 
I'm actually off work today. After going to tesco and cleaning wee toilet I had a chicken salad sandwich. Went out a 4 mile walk. Made stovies for dinner with sausage and haggis however I had carrot and turnip on side so I could have less stovies. Dessert was a massive Costco cupcake. 

Anyway I've given myself 10 weeks to get back to 11stone. That's only a pound a week. It will take me to Christmas .

Healthier day 1(36-3)33pp

11.7 things not looking great I've went mental and I'm officially starting to put the weight on. Hit 11.9 on Monday morning! Pretty disgusted with myself! Yesterday someone brought chocolate cake into work and i had a slice at break and two bits of Madeira cake . Then in the afternoon , i ate 3 slices one after the other! I didn't even enjoy it as I was just shoveling it into my mouth! 
I decided to have a healthier few days. Today was easy as I was so determined to be a healthy person again. Had graze shortbreads for dessert instead of a magnum or pastry. I'm only bring uber healthy for a few days as a kick start. I'll see if I can last 5 days.
